Helga is a very calm and soft person, someone who wouldn't hurt a fly no matter how long it annoyed her. She has the ability to see good in everyone, even those who probably don't deserve it at times. She's very naive though and tends to get taken advantage of those who aren't as kind hearted as she is. Helga is also very maternal and loyal toward those she cares about.
Helga is full of love and kindness, and habors a strong love for her long time friend and fellow co-founder Godric Gryffindor. She is also very close friends with Rowena Ravenclaw. She has the ability to bring people together and gain their attention with the way she can simply smile through anything. She is a rather talented speaker and modivates people and helps people achieve their full protential as a human being.

Helga Hufflepuff was born on a stormy night on the 16th of September to loving parents Harold and Eudora Hufflepuff. She grew up in a small village in Wales and although her family were not very rich, they got by with the help of magic that both her and her brother inherited. Harold, was a blacksmith and Eudora was the one who mainly raised the two children.
From a young age, Helga knew that she wanted to help other witches and wizards tame their abilities. Although she came from a family with magical abilities, she still felt very alone in the world because of the lack of those her age with similar gifts. This saddness she never voiced, preferring to throw herself into helping her family and village in any way possible. She surprisingly remained single, due to the lack of status and people her age in the village. At the age of fifteen however, her life changed dramatically. One night a group of bandits attacked her village and because her father had been working late, he had left his wand at home for safe keeping due to them needing to keep a low profile. He was killed before he could defend himself. Her mother was never the same after that.
Helga, knowing that she had to step up and help provide for the family, shifted them further up the country where she met and formed a friendship with Godric Gryffindor. She begun as a maid for an upperclass family. Eudora though, could not handle herself after the death of Harold and took her own life. Halford took his mother's death quite hard and pulled away from Helga afterwards. This was when Helga decided to fufill her desire to teach. This was when she met Rowena. After seeing the girl in such distress, Helga offered her a place to stay and the girl moved into the room that Halford had abandoned. She still saw her brother on occasions, but the pair never were as close after the grief of losing both parents.
Helga also met Salazar in this time and along with Godric and Rowena, she set her plans of creating a school of magic into action. After a long time of building and slight bickering (between Salazar and Godric of course), they finally managed to achieve the near impossible. And so Hogwarts was born.
Now the group find themselves in the future after a mishap with some time turner that Rowena was building and Helga has found herself in a completely different world. Of course she still clings to the hope that Godric will notice her in a romantic way (even though he is married), Helga is branching out a lot and hopes to find out what has happened to everything she knew.
