Charlotte Abercrombie is freaking out. She recently discovered her fate after flying into the future. It’s a sure shock when the young woman finds out she’s going to marry and have children with a bloke she hasn’t even met yet! This development doesn’t sit very well with Charlotte and she has made up her mind not to have anything to do with her future family. But can she help it? Jonas Logan is after all, pretty irresistible, once you get to know him.
At least, that’s what his fiancée, Josephine McGonagall, thinks. She never actually thought Jonas would propose to her after years of dating, but he did. And about time too. She was certainly looking forward to her wedding when the whole time warp happened and she found herself thrown into the future. The very first person she met was a young man, by the name of Jonas Longbottom, and he reminds her of her own Jonas. He told her about the origin of his name and Josephine was almost certain this was her great great grandson or something when he told her that Jonas Logan married Charlotte Abercrombie. What? Who the heck was Charlotte Abercrombie?
And back to the man in question. Jonas Logan. Will he eventually have to choose between the two lovely ladies? Will Charlotte accept him if he picks her? Why is this choice so important? What if Charlotte married someone other than Jonas Logan? She would never have Alice Logan who’d go on to have Neville Longbottom, who plays a vital role in the upcoming wars? Because this choice could affect the future. It could cause a domino effect that could destroy and seize many lives.
Will Charlotte find someone else, or is fate always doomed to repeat itself? Can her future children, grandchildren convince her that her life won’t be so bad? That the guy she ends up marrying is someone she will love? What about poor Josephine? Will she fight for her love? Will Jonas want to fight the fate his future wife will have, dying in the streets alone by seeking out the Death Eater, Derman Rookwood, who killed her years later and murdering him now before it happens?
