The Ministry of the future has been the one everyone has been blaming for the era clash. They were the ones pushing the boundaries of time, experimenting with it. But what if someone else had a hand in it? Rowena Ravenclaw, considered one of the most brilliant witches of her time, was attempting to create a time turner. The founder of Hogwarts had been looking for something else to occupy her time, after creating the diadem, and thought that a device to turn back time could help everyone in so many ways. Salazar Slytherin encouraged her to do so, but he had his own agenda in wanting Rowena to create a device that could let him go back in time. Or even go forward, if possible.
It was a normal day. Rowena was in her room at Hogwarts, tinkering with the magical device. She had made some progress, at least she thought so. She was excited; she wanted to share the news with Salazar, who was being such a dear. But it was Godric who walked into her room just when she was heading out. He wanted to tell her something. What did he want to tell Rowena? That he loved her. He took hold of Rowena and kissed her, not paying heed to the device she held in her hand. And as thoughts of Helga, her fellow founder and friend, crossed her mind, Rowena pushed Godric away. The experimental device dropped and shattered on the ground.
A magical device that hadn’t been tested, the first of its kind, breaking into pieces caused something that not even the brilliant Ravenclaw understood. Time seemed to speed up around the two of them. Within minutes, the two of them were in another castle, but not Hogwarts. Salazar and Helga entered the room, with Helga rambling on about how she’d been in the Greenhouses one moment and how she’d found herself in the bathroom with a naked Salazar just a few minutes later, much to Salazar’s displeasure as evident by the scowl on his face.
The founders soon found out that it was the year 1979, month of December. Godric Gyffindor, as Headmaster of Hogwarts, made the decision to not make their presence known to the Wizarding World at large. For not only had the four founders been brought forward in time, so had the fellow Professors and students who had been in Hogwarts at that time. The students were to resume their lessons, the Professors to continue teaching in this castle that they’d been brought to. It was with great discontentment that Salazar accepted this decision. Rowena was too distraught with what she thought she’d done and the kiss between her and Godric to say anything. Helga? Helga was content to go with whatever Godric did.
It is now February and Godric has deemed it safe enough for them to reveal themselves to the Wizarding World. How will the party unfold? Will Rowena tell Helga of what Godric told her? Does Salazar have plans for the Wizarding World? Will he team up with Tom Riddle? Can Godric win Rowena’s heart? Does Rowena have a way to fix things and bring them all back to their time eras?
