Ooh, Jared? He is your regular guy with that mysterious smirk and those charming baby blue eyes. He has a great talent to mystify people yet he has that talent to annoy people to the brink. Your first impression of him would be very mature and well raised young man, who has a tendency to be very gentleman but still get into a heated conversation that'll probably annoy the one who is with Jared. One could be surprised how much he likes to talk since his position as a Unspeakable.
Above all, Jared is very loyal and trusting. But he doesn't let just anyone near him, only those who he seems fit. Those who he let's in are his trees that he can lean onto. But the most important person in his life is his fiancé. He is willing to die for her and she is truly the one he wants to marry and spend the rest of his life with. Even though from his heart he is a truth-seeking Ravenclaw, he is loyal as a Hufflepuff or brave as a Gryffidndor. You could say he is a mix of all those qualities but leans to Ravenclaw more.
Jared has a good sense of what is wrong and what isn't. But he honestly doesn't care about wars and such. He only wants to focus to his work and maybe some day become the Minister of Magic(yeah right)

Jared is the oldest of the Grey children. He is the only one who hasn't gotten a twin. It never really bothered him because he always thought as a little boy that his twin was out there somewhere and they were just separated. Jared, as the oldest took care of Adeleine and Anthony while their parents worked in the Ministry. They were very respected workers since Apollo worked as the Minister of Magics consult while Sarah worked as an Auror. This made nearly impossible for the three(at that time there was only three) to see their parents that much. The siblings lived though very full life with joy. They were raised as a proper children should and soon it was for the oldest son to leave to Hogwarts. Jared had always been a bright child and there was no doubt that he was sorted to the great house of Ravenclaw.
At the age of 11, Jared was curious yet very clever as I stated before. He was not only book smart but his sarcastic comments and slightly arrogant attitude brought him more fist fights than a Ravenclaw should get. And when his twin siblings started their studying in Hogwarts, they too were sorted into Ravenclaw.
But on his 4th year, a news came from home Sarah had given birth to two baby boys, twins as expected. After his brothers birth though, a tragic hit the Grey family. Apollo died after getting a heart-attack. This hit Jared the most than any of the children. He now had to care of his siblings and his mother too, who fell into a depression after her husbands death. Emil and Ember, grew without a father. And Jared tried to keep the family together. It was hard and when he graduated(top of his class), he didn't pursue his wanted career as an Unspeakable, but stayed home, looking after the two twins. Sarah never recovered from her depression and took her own life just 2 years after Apollo. The three oldest, tried to sort things out, but failing. Anthony wanted to be a reporter and Adeleine had just been accepted to the Auror Academy.
Luckily, Ember and Emil were already ten at the time so Jared had to postpone his career plans by a year. And when the boys went to Hogwarts, he got a job at the Ministry.
Jared, climbing high and being happy in his work, he hardly had no time to socialize. You could say socializing found him. He was a good looking young man after all and girls seemed to buzz around him. Jared didn't really see this until one girl stepped into his life. She was a young teachers-assistant in Hogwarts. She once came to visit at the Ministry and you could say it was love at first sight. Anarya didn't see it at first but after dozens roses and a love song, she was sold. After dating couple years, they got engaged.
But when Jared and his family suddenly traveled to the future, he got separated from everyone else. He doesn't remember anything about it expect that he woke up in middle of Department of Mysteries and everything had changed. Now, Jared is desperately trying to find Anarya and his siblings. But in the back of his mind he suspects or actually is frightened that maybe he had something to do with the time going all loopy. Though he cannot prove this, so he let's that thought go.
