Regulus was raised to believe he's better then everyone one, especially half bloods and muggles. His parents raised him to support the beliefs in Voldemort. He never really wanted to dissapoint his parents, so he always does what they want him do, even if deep down that's not what he himself wants deep down.
Regulus is pretty nice, or rather can be. He's just well misguided in a way. He's misunderstood and everyone judges him for whom his parents are, or in other words by his last name. Sure Regulus can be quite rude, as well, but he'll act before really thinking. He wants more then anything to grow a backbone and do what he wants, but he finds it rather very difficult. He secretly admires his older brother for running away and doing what he wants to do instead of having people tell him what to do.

Regulus Arcturus Black is the second son born to Walburga and Orion Black. He was born in 1961. He has an Older brother named Sirius. Regulus had always looked up to Sirius, but of course never made that painfully obvious, especially after the two of them went to Hogwarts and they were sorted into two different houses.
Regulus recieved his Hogwarts letter when he turned Eleven. By then Sirius was already there at Hogwarts, as his brother is older. When Regulus was sorted, He was sorted into Slytherin. His brother had been sorted into Gryffindor. That didn't really help they're already distant relationship. Things just seemed to get worse rather then better. Regulus isn't even sure if they were ever close and if they were he really doesn't remember it very well.
Regulus became a Death Eater at the age of Sixteen. Sure when he was younger he idolized Voldemort, but joining when he had was really his fathers idea and he couldn't exactly say no. By this time his Brother had run away, Having ran away at Sixteen. Regulus, although understood why his brother ran away, can't seem but to be angry at him for it at the same time. He tries to make it seem like he hates him, when he really doesn't.
